WHAT WE TEACH AT
VICTORY BAPTIST CHURCH
- The King James Bible is God's word translated in English
- God is the Creator and Ruler of the Universe
- Jesus Christ was God, born of a virgin, and lived a sinless life
- Jesus died on the Cross as the final payment for all sins
- Jesus rose again bodily from the dead on the third day
- Jesus will return one day to "rapture" His church and then judge the world by great tribulation
- All mankind is sinful and faces eternal punishment in hell unless they receive the salvation of God
- Salvation is only by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone
- A person is saved when he/she repents of sin and trusts Christ as Savior and Lord
- Every believer has been called to a life of obedience to God's Word--we must not only talk about the Bible...we must live it!
- God has given us the solemn responsibility of reaching our world with the message of Jesus.
