From Our Pastor...

Dear friend,

Thank you for visiting our website. I would like to invite you to come join us in a church service. Our services consist of a warm welcome, good music, a message from God’s word and plenty of fellowship. I know schedules are full these days and time is a precious commodity so please plan to visit with us soon.

If you would, please take a few minutes to read this simple explanation of salvation. Salvation is a term that simply means you’ve trusted Jesus Christ by faith to save you from sin and hell. To help you understand salvation, I have added the following outline with bible verses. To receive the free gift of salvation it’s as easy as “A, B, C”.

A. Admit you are a sinner – Admit you are guilty of sin.

Rom. 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

Rom. 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Rom. 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

1Jn. 1:8,10 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Admit you cannot save yourself.

Eph. 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Jn. 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Gal. 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Admit you are condemned to hell.

Jn. 3:11 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

1Pet. 2:4,9 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; 9The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

B. Believe in Jesus Christ – Believe He paid your sin debt.

Eph. 5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

Heb. 10:12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

Rom. 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Believe He died and rose again.

Rom. 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Eph. 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Gal. 3:26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

C. Call on the Lord Jesus – He wants anyone who will believe.

Jn. 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Acts 10:43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

Rom. 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Jesus wants you to ask personally.

Rom. 10:9-10,13 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Jesus wants you to ask today.

2Cor. 6:2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

2Pet. 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Now my question to you is this, have you ever come to a place in your life where you realized you were a sinner and going to hell ?  If your heart was to stop beating this very minute where would you spend eternity ?  Jesus Christ has prepared the way.  He has lived the sinless life that you could not live.  He has paid the price for your sins on the cross that you could not pay.  He rose again the third day and is now sending an invitation for you to repent of your sins and trust in Him as your savior.  All you must do is; admit you need Jesus.  Believe that Jesus has paid the price for your sins. Place your faith in Him alone. Then call to Jesus and ask for forgiveness of your sins and ask Him to save you from sin and hell.  You can call on Him at anytime and anywhere you may be.
